From 8 to 13 June, the “2024 Dream Journey — Colombia Villemont Middle School Chinese Culture Summer Camp (Xi'an leg)”, handled by the inbound center of Xi'an Overseas, concluded successfully. In two batches, more than 200 students saw a real, three-dimensional and richly varied China in this ancient city, laying a solid foundation for ongoing China–Colombia cultural exchange.
This is not an ordinary study trip, but a youth cultural exchange that both countries' official bodies hold high hopes for.
The Villemont Middle School camp was recommended by the Chinese Embassy in Colombia, aiming to deepen young people's understanding of and identification with Chinese civilisation and culture, and to strengthen friendship and exchange between the two countries.
